Painting the town rouge

This edition’s signature bar, L’Atelier Rouge, turns every drink into something to understand as well as to savour. The ribbon is cut this evening in Pavilion 7.3.

For Paris Society Consulting and design agency Saguez & Dash, who created this 400 m² space, a drink is fully experienced once it is understood. The journey therefore unfolds in three stages, each paving the way for the next: a sensory corridor, a laboratory open to gestures and techniques, then a dimly lit bar where the drink truly comes into its own.

Transparency runs through the whole project, helping visitors decode what is in the glass, discover the craft behind it and leave eager to recreate and explore. Paris Society Consulting sees it as a form of hospitality that shares as much as it impresses.

The menu features three trios, namely three cocktails, three mocktails and three hot drinks. Fitted out by Ecce Gusto, the space also relies on Pernod Ricard France and SVEV Glassware behind the bar. Talks and masterclasses complete the programme, exploring the latest signatures and trends in the bar world.
